“Our Mission is to propagate Buddhism all over the world”

About Buddhism

Buddhism is a unique religion in the world. It is spreading worldwide, even faster than the speed of sunlight. It is in great demand in the West. Therefore, in Western countries. As you are aware, Buddhism is already very established in Western countries. Therefore, it is our great responsibility to help the Western Buddhist laities who need our spiritual assistance. However, there is a wide shortage of English-educated monks in Buddhist countries to teach Dhamma, especially in Western countries.

Fortunately, we are living in a world where technology has advanced and developed rapidly. Therefore. It is very easy to propagate Dhamma through the modern sophisticated instrumental equipment and high technology means. As such, we are planning to establish an English Teaching Centre in Sri-Lanka to train as many novice monks as possible to meet the need. The main objective is to train the novice monks to enable them to propagate the Dhamma everywhere possible in the world.

Our Centre is seeking your kind support and generous donations to make it possible for us to complete the English Teaching Centre in Sri Lanka, which shall be named the “Samakolaka International Buddhist Centre. We wish to quote a saying from the Buddha; He who offers shelter benefits in the way of unshakable strength, good complexion, happiness and right views, in this life and the life after”. Therefore, one who participates in this meritorious deed will no doubt get protection, prosperity, happiness and finally, they may get rid of their suffering forever.

Now the building has all most completed. In this stage, we need your kind and very generous support to accomplish other necessary infrastructural facilities to achieve our main purpose. I have stepped to this remarkable stage as you all supported me very sincerely. As Buddha says, light of wisdom dispels the darkness of ignorance. Wisdom is an ornament for the people. (Panna Naranam Ratanam). So, one who supports the monk’s education may be able to succeed in their present education and have the happiest rebirth life after life. So, this is a very good opportunity for you all to get a very comfortable life here and hereafter

Dhamma Article

Craving is an evil action. Assuming attitude is an unwholesome action. Heresy is not a good action, and it is an evil action. In terms of this, could it be a good action? I leave this matter to intellectual people to investigate further. Let me write a little more on this matter. Those who deem mundane properties as one’s own ambition are not Buddhist. In that manner, Laukika S²la is Non-Buddhist. P±ramit± S²la is Buddhist. Training, having converted into fear & contentment, showing hell and heaven, is called Laukika S²la. Only desire and fear exist therein, there is no vision, and there will be only wrong-view. Those who accept conditional things as permanent, happiness and the soul are not Buddhist. So, those who observe moral practice mainly expecting to gain material comfort are Non-Buddhists. Their virtue is mundane. It is possible to tame the people with fear, giving punishment by scolding with harsh words, beating with clubs when they commit crimes and granting things they like to have, when they do good things.
